Airless spraying uses a high-pressure pump to atomise paint and apply it through a fine spray tip, without compressed air. On interiors we use it for walls and ceilings, laying down an even film of paint far more quickly than a roller, then back-roll or finish where needed for a consistent texture.

Airless spraying is a method, not a shortcut. Here is where it works best and how we use it.
New-build and fresh plaster
New plaster needs a mist coat to seal it, followed by finish coats. Spraying handles large areas of bare plaster quickly and evenly, and gets them sealed before dust and marks settle in.
Ceilings and high walls
Rolling ceilings is slow and prone to spatter. Spraying from the floor or from low access keeps coverage consistent across the whole ceiling and cuts the time spent working overhead.
Open-plan and large rooms
The bigger the uninterrupted wall, the harder it is to avoid visible lap marks with a roller. Spraying keeps a wet edge across the whole surface for a uniform result.
